Deleting pages and assets

The command "Delete page" or "Delete asset" is not sufficient to remove a published page or asset from the Internet. You must then use the "Publish deletion" command.

It is better to "Unpublish" the page or asset beforehand. The page or asset is then removed from the internet but remains in the CMS. You can still delete it completely later.

When you select the "Delete asset" command, a warning appears. It tells you whether an asset is still placed on a page.

Delete page

1. Delete a published page
2. Check the live view: Is the page still visible?
3. Select the command "Publish deletion".
4. Check the live view again.

Delete asset

1. Remove the image from each page on which it is placed.
2. Delete the asset in the asset management
